What is copywriting?

Simply put, copywriting is strategically delivering words (aka, copy) that sparks the reader to take some form of action, whether it’s making a purchase, signing up for an email list, or sharing your content. Copywriting is ideal for websites, ads, emailing marketing, newsletters, etc.

How is content writing different?

While copywriting is similar, content marketing uses storytelling to invoke feeling and form a connection with the reader. It also grows a loyal, engaged audience while positioning you as an industry leader. Content writing typically utilizes long from content like blog posts, case studies, and white papers.

What services do you offer?

What kind of clients do you work with?

I primarily work with companies in the home building, remodeling, real estate & property management, and interior design industries. However, I have a range of clients in other industries including manufacturing/industrial, economic development, retail, finance, and lifestyle publishing.

What is the first step of working with you?

To get started, check out the services and pricing guide to select the packages or individual services your business requires. From there, you’ll get in touch via my contact form and/or schedule a free 30-minute discovery call.

 

How do I reserve a spot on your schedule?

To move forward with a project after our free 30-minute discovery call, I require a nonrefundable 50% down payment. Once the project is completed, I will send an invoice for the remaining amount via email.

Do you accept rush projects?

Projects on a tight deadline can be typically be completed within 24-72 hours depending on the scope. Rush projects will include an additional fee equaling 25% of the original cost of the project.

Can I create a custom package?

Of course! No two businesses are alike, so your content needs can vary. Get in touch to discuss your unique needs and I will help you build a package tailored to your business.

 

Why do you list “starting” prices?

Each project has a minimum threshold, but the price can increase depending on the scope. The final project price is determined by several factors, including (but not limited to) word count, the amount of research required, deadline, frequency, and complexity. All projects start with a quote, so you can determine if my pricing aligns with your budget.

How do I pay you?

I accept credit cards, direct bank transfers, and PayPal. All payments are due on net 15 terms. Payments not made within the net 15 window will accrue late payment fees.

What is your cancellation policy?

Should the project be terminated prior to the start date, the client agrees to pay a kill fee of of $300. If the kill fee is less than the down payment, the client will receive a refund for the excess amount.

 
 

What is the revisions process like?

The revisions process varies from project to project. Most will include two rounds of revisions free of charge, with the exception of the monthly social media calendar. Please review the revision policies below for more information.

 

Blogs/Articles, Copywriting, & Email Marketing

All projects include 2 revisions. Revisions must be requested within 3-5 days of submission. If no revision is requested during this window, it will be assumed the project is satisfactory and the final invoice will be sent. Should you request revisions once the window has closed, additional fees may apply.

Social Media Management

Content calendars are created on a monthly basis. You will have access to the content calendar and may request revisions up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled posting date to allow adequate time for changes.

Content calendars are created on a monthly basis, one month in advance. You will be given the opportunity to approve the content calendar and any revisions must be requested within 3-5 days of submission. If no revisions are requested during this window, it will be assumed the content calendar has been approved and the final invoice will be sent. Once the content calendar has been released to you, you are free to make any changes as you see fit.
